Remodeling the remodel?

Phase II of the tree adventure process:

Asbestos removal crew, vacating the office into the living room (wasn't it all there last year?) tenting the asbestos exposed area of our bedroom/bathroom, the VERY LOUD dehumidifiers, no ceiling in the bathroom....dropping the desk on my toe....business as usual...could be worse, right?

My toe...yes I moved my desk alone, barefoot. Are you surprised? Next day I moved the treadmill...but I put shoes on first!

Dale found this lil fella under the wood pile on the slab behind our garage, as he and Ryan were preparing to jackhammer the slab.

He was little, a foot maybe, and they axed him...here's what he did next. I found it much more fascinating than scary because he was already dead when I came outside.

Also, Mija and I saw a taratula crossing the road the night before.

Face my fears much?!?!?

What we've done in a year

     So, in February 2008, we left Folsom

     and moved to El Dorado.

So that is a relatively panoramic view. 

I got to work on the outside first, making a pond for my 13 fish I brought from Folsom, 12 of whom died from a mysterious plague in August. (Or possibly from highly chlorinated hose water.)
